Sir, So many of us are prone to criticise the behaviour of today's 'young people'. I have been as guilty as most. However, my faith in the 'young' of today, particularly those in Tenby, has been restored by the following incident. After visiting my wife, a patient in Tenby Cottage Hospital, on the evening of Tuesday, October 26, I found I had been 'silly enough' to have left my car lights on, and as a result I could not start the car to make my way home to Saundersfoot. Out of the darkness appeared three quite heavily built lads who asked if they could help by pushing the car. This they did and way down Trafalgar Road the engine burst into action and I was on my way home. They obviously were left behind and I was unable to tender my thanks. Thank you lads, whoever you are. Young people are not too bad, despite our criticism. Gwynfor Davies, Swn-yr-Awel, Whitlow, Saundersfoot.
