Five exotic birds were stolen during a burglary at the weekend.
Police are appealing for information into the incident which occurred in Reynalton during the early hours of Sunday morning.
The birds were taken in their cages and included a blue and gold 20-week-old Macaw and a blue fronted Amazon parrot, which is mostly green in colour with red and yellow flecks. The parrot is also aged 20 weeks and has a blue head.
In addition, three four-year-old Hawskheaded Parrots were also stolen. They are mainly green in colour with turquoise and crimson chests. One has a brown coloured head, while the other two have biscuit coloured heads.
