On April 1, Neyland Ladies Choir travelled to Narberth to take part in their first concert in over two years. Performing in front of a large audience, they shared the stage with Barry Male Voice Choir and local soprano Jess Robinson.

Musical Director Lynne Kelleher chose a varied programme to showcase Neyland Ladies, appropriately commencing the first set with As Long as I Have Music followed by California Dreamin’and Dream a Little Dream ending with Let There be Peace on Earth.

The second set comprised of Hallelujah Get Happy, Domine Deus, You Raise Me up ending with a rousing Welsh hymn, Rachie, when Lynne invited the Barry boys to join in. Accompanied by Miranda Davies, the ladies received rapturous applause and the message that Neyland Ladies Choir are back in business!

The evening ended with Neyland and Barry choirs joining together to perform Anthem from the musical Chess. The evening proceeds supported the Swim Narberth charity.
