North Pembrokeshire Open Studios (NPOS) is delighted to announce the first of its 2026 group exhibitions, opening at the West Wales Arts Centre at Peppers in Fishguard.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, May 23, and runs until Saturday, June 6, bringing together a diverse collection of artists and makers from across Pembrokeshire and West Wales, offering an early opportunity to experience the breadth and quality of work featured in this year’s North Pembrokeshire Open Studios Art Trail.
Visitors can expect a rich mix of creative styles and mediums including painting, ceramics, glass, sculpture, printmaking, jewellery, mixed media and more.
Many of the participating artists draw inspiration from the Pembrokeshire landscape, coastline, wildlife and cultural heritage.
A special opening event will take place from 3 to 6pm on Saturday, May 23, offering visitors the chance to meet many of the artists.
The exhibition also begins the build-up to the 2026 North Pembrokeshire Open Studios Art Trail, which takes place from August 22 to September 6.
A printed trail guide will be available locally from early summer to help visitors plan studio visits across the region.
This will provide full venue details and information on more than 55 participating artists and makers.
A second group show ‘NPOS Summer Exhibition’ will follow at the West Wales Arts Centre at Peppers from Saturday, August 15 to Saturday, September 5, coinciding with the main Art Trail period and allowing visitors to get a taste of all the artists together in one gallery space.
North Pembrokeshire Open Studios continues to support local artists while encouraging cultural tourism, creative engagement and year-round visibility for Pembrokeshire’s vibrant arts community.
Gallery opening hours are as follows: Tuesday to Friday, 11am to 4pm; Saturday: 11am to 3pm; Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
West Wales Arts Centre is located at Peppers, 16 West Street, Fishguard, SA65 9AE.
