HEAD to Canolfan Bethlehem, Newport, Pembrokeshire tomorrow evening (Tuesday) for an inspiring evening with Newport’s own Heledd Williams and teammate Denise Leonard, members of Merched y Môr—the first all-Welsh female crew to row across the Atlantic Ocean.
This incredible four-woman team completed the legendary World's Toughest Row. They spent 50 days, 14 hours, and 43 minutes entirely unsupported at sea, rowing 3,000 miles to raise vital funds for charity.
Heledd and Denise will share the real story behind their epic adventure. Through personal anecdotes, stunning ocean photos, and exclusive footage, they will reveal how friendship and iron willpower kept them moving through the ultimate test of human endurance.
An open Q&A will follow. The doors open at 6.30pm and the entry fee is £6.
