A world of tasty flavours will served up in Narberth as some of the region’s best food and drink producers and chefs celebrate what the area has to offer next week.

Chefs with TV appearances, books, cookery schools and restaurant awards to their names will be giving demonstrations and talks at Narberth Food Festival on September 26th and 27th, 2026.

Among them will be Matt Powell, the chef behind renowned Michelin Green Star awarded restaurant Annwn in Narberth.

One of Wales’ most distinctive dining experiences, Powell’s creative tasting menus celebrate the landscapes, seasons and stories of Wales, combining exceptional local produce with wild and foraged ingredients from Pembrokeshire’s natural larder. He’ll be cooking up a tasty offering under the theme’Wild, Welsh and in Season’.

French-born chef Ludo Dieumegard has built an outstanding career in Wales, appearing on MasterChef: The Professionals and earning praise from Jay Rayner as "a magician with food".

Formerly head chef at the Harbourmaster in Aberaeron, he now leads the kitchen at the Black Lion in Cardigan.

He will be demonstrating how to transform slow-cooked lamb into a delicious feast served with homemade flatbreads, couscous and vibrant dips, as well as how to make the most of the leftovers by turning them into a flavour-packed second meal that is impressive and economical.

Award-winning coastal foraging expert Craig Evans will be celebrating the Pembrokeshire coastline with a menu of items all gathered from the shore just five miles from Narberth.

Known for his engaging and educational foraging experiences, Craig has appeared alongside Mary Berry, Michael Portillo and Ainsley Harriott, and is a regular guest at the Good Food Show.

Seb Smith, head chef at the award-winning Allt Yr Afon, Wolfscastle, will be creating a two-course menu of handmade ravioli with velouté followed by a rich chocolate mousse. His inspiring dishes led him to a spot on TV’s Great British Menu.

Seb Smith, head chef at the award-winning Allt Yr Afon, Wolfscastle, will be creating a two-course menu of handmade ravioli with velouté followed by a rich chocolate mousse. His inspiring dishes led him to a spot on TV’s Great British Menu.

Originally from Neath, he trained in some of England's leading hotels before returning to Wales, where his bold, refined cooking has earned the restaurant three AA Rosettes and a place in the Michelin Guide.

Oliver Ling, head chef at Curado in Cardiff, and Adam Beckey head of operations at Ultracomida, Narberth, will be revealing just how easy it is to make an authentic Spanish paella at home.

They will share expert tips for cooking the perfect rice, the common mistakes to avoid if you don't want to upset a Spaniard, and a few delicious ideas to enjoy while your paella is cooking.

Sicilian chef Orsola Muscia as she shares the secrets behind one of Italy's most iconic desserts. Watch her create crisp, golden cannoli with a rich, creamy ricotta filling, and discover how you can recreate this classic Sicilian favourite in your own kitchen.

James Greatorex, Head Chef at The Grove, will be putting an Asian-inspired twist on some fantastic Welsh ingredients.

He’ll be making Pembrokeshire potato and lamb samosas and Welsh pork and leek wontons – delicious snacks that are surprisingly achievable at home and perfect for entertaining.

Holly Robinson, of the festival committee, said: “Once again we are delighted to showcase the great food and drink being produced in this area. We are fortunate to have so much talent nearby with renowned experts, award-winning and top chefs, innovative small family businesses and growing operations all making their mark on the UK scene.

“The festival offers a chance for people to meet those behind the dishes and produce, ask questions and support and celebrate our local food businesses and chefs and enjoy two days of entertainment along the way."

Narberth Food Festival takes place on September 26th and 27th at the Town Moor. A park and ride scheme will run across the weekend.

As well as chef’s demonstrations in the food theatre, a food hall features scores of stalls highlighting innovative and tasty produce while there is also a street food area, bar and a packed programme of live music with bands and solo acts hosted by Mike Chant and BB Skone.

Tickets cost £6 adults each day if bought online at www.narberthfoodfestival.com and £7 on the gate. Under 16s are free.
