Highlights of Ironman Wales 2026 will be on the box this week.

Highlights of the event held in Tenby and across Pembrokeshire, featuring the 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike course, and 26.2-mile run will be broadcast on S4C on Friday, September 25, at 8pm.

The programme will also be available on S4C Clic, and BBC iPlayer

Barely 24 hours after general registration opened for Ironman Wales 2027, the 15th anniversary edition sold out - organisers of the triathlon revealed.

A spokesperson for Ironman Wales said: “This year’s race was next level and to be honest, we’re still buzzing!

“We’re already looking forward to what will be the biggest race in the event’s history next year. Congrats once again to every athlete who lined up on North Beach, and to everyone who’s in for 2027.

“We wish you all the best with your preparation over the next 12 months, embrace the journey and we will be there to celebrate with you on September 19 next year.”
