THIS November, the Joanna Field Gallery has become home to the Milford Haven GCSE Art and Design Exhibition. Nearly 50 Milford Haven School pupils’ work are on display.
Showing from Friday 7 to Thursday 20 November, the 2025 display will be the 11th exhibition of its kind.
The Exhibition is as usual a huge celebration of art work created by the Art students for their Art and Design GCSE Project during their final year at Milford Haven School.
Katie George, the Art Technician at Milford Haven School, said: “We are delighted to have this opportunity again to exhibit at the Torch, which is a really fantastic chance to show the work of the pupils in a professional setting. It also allows proud parents, friends and the rest of the community to see some of the hard work that has gone into their art pieces,” said .
Under the watchful eye of their Art Teacher Mr Chris Green, the pupils are encouraged to use and explore as many media and techniques as possible, gaining the pupils confidence and knowledge to create their final projects.
“We are always so excited to tell the pupils that their final piece will go on exhibition at the Torch and generally they are pretty excited for that to happen,” said Mr Green who added that the school is very grateful to the Torch and Tesco for their support to enable the exhibition to take place.
Katie added: “When the pupils visit the Torch to see their work, it's usually a real ‘feel good factor’ of achievement which is always lovely to see. The whole ambiance and setting at the Torch is absolutely perfect!”
The exhibition can be seen at the Joanna Field Gallery, Torch Theatre during Box Office opening times throughout the month until November 20.
