The multi-award winning documentary film Love Around the World that explores the meaning of love through the eyes and experiences of couples from 30 different cultures around the globe comes to Milford Haven’s Torch cinema on Tuesday, November 8.

This stunning and beautiful award winning film tells the narrative of stories told through a series of interviews of couples from different countries and cultures relating their tales of love, marriage and relationships. Described as a ‘sweet-natured documentary’ by the Guardian, the film takes us from the Amazon rainforests and remote villages in the Himalayas to the world’s largest metropolises. (There is also a book about the subject).
The screening will be followed by Questions and Answers session with directors of the movie, Anđela and Davor Rostuhar who turned their honeymoon into a year-long exploration of love. During their honeymoon they conducted 120 interviews with people in all types of relationships across six continents.
Davor told the Torch: “What is love? A question most of us asked ourselves at least once in our lifetime… My wife Anđela and I, as a newly married couple from Croatia, decided to turn our own honeymoon into a year-long exploration of possible answers to this question. And after coming home, we transformed this inspiring experience into a documentary and a book showing all the complexity of love in the 21st century.”
Love Around the World is a stunning and deeply touching documentary not to be missed!
