Local harpist Jess Ward will be bringing Wales’ national instrument to Tenby’s St David's Festival celebrations, performing a concert at St Mary's Church House on Sunday, March 3.

In love with the harp since the age of 3, shortly after her family came to live in Wales, Jess has been inspired all her life by the Pembrokeshire landscape she calls home, along with its people, music and dance traditions.

West Wales-based singer songwriter, harpist and fiddle player Jess Ward offers music you will love to listen to, from beautiful melodies and haunting songs, to rousing folk tunes to get you on the dance floor.

With three albums of original songs recorded, Jess will be playing an eclectic set, mixing songs from her albums with favourite folk songs from Wales and beyond as well as traditional Welsh folk and dance music, dating from as far back as Tudor and Medieval times right up to modern day pipe tunes. Hear Jess Ward in concert at Church House, Tenby on Sunday, March 3 starts at 3pm. Entrance fee is £5 or a donation for charity.
