Saundersfoot Seafest, will take place at Saundersfoot Harbour this summer.

This exciting coastal event on Saturday, July 11 will offer a full day of activities and entertainment celebrating the sea, local food, all things seaweed and the surrounding environment. The festival is free to attend and open to all.

Seafest will bring together residents and visitors for an engaging programme designed to highlight the connection between the sea, coastal heritage, and locally sourced food.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy live cooking demonstrations and sample a variety of dishes, alongside interactive experiences that explore the richness of Pembrokeshire’s shoreline.

A diverse programme of activities will be available for all ages, including guided seashore safaris, sandcastle building competitions, crabbing contests, and hands-on workshops such as seaweed and chips sessions. The event will also feature pirate and dog fancy dress competitions, encouraging participation from both children and adults.

Visitors will also be able to take part in boat trips and kayaking experiences (there will be a small fee for these), as well as explore a range of interactive exhibits and retail stalls showcasing local produce, crafts, and coastal initiatives. The event aims to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment where families and individuals can come together to learn, participate, and celebrate the unique coastal landscape of Pembrokeshire.

“Saundersfoot Seafest is a celebration of our coastline, our communities, and the incredible food and culture that comes from living so closely connected to the sea,” said Sue Latham, Coordinator of Pembrokeshire Local Food Partnership.

“We are delighted to welcome people of all ages to join us for a free, fun-filled day by the harbour.”

Organisers warmly invite the public to attend and enjoy this free event, offering a valuable opportunity to experience the very best of the coastline while creating lasting memories with family and friends.

This event is supported by the Welsh Government, Pembrokeshire Local Food Partnership, Pobl Tir Môr, Saundersfoot Harbour, Saundersfoot Rotary Club, WWF Cymru and Wales Festival of Seaweed.
