WATCH the 2025 historical drama Hamnet with Films4Tenby on Tuesday, June 23, 7pm.
The film screens at the De Valence Pavilion, Tenby, with doors opening at 6.30pm. Admission is £5, £4 for members or £10 for a family of four.
Directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, the film dramatises the family life of William Shakespeare and his wife Agnes Hathaway as they cope with the death of their 11-year-old son Hamnet. It stars Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal as Agnes and William, alongside Emily Watson, Joe Alwyn, and Jacobi Jupe in supporting roles.
Buckley’s performance as Agnes received widespread acclaim from critics, which earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress.
