A total of 67 children took to the stage in Saundersfoot for a high quality Halloween performance.

Escape Youth Music Theatre’s Company proudly relaunched in time for this Hallowe'en season with their production of TRW’s Addams Family (young @ part) at The Regency Hall, Saundersfoot, with Infants and Juniors opening the packed matinee with their spooky song and dance routines (writes Jo Pullen).

The quality of the acting, singing and dancing of these local young people far exceeded their average age of just 13 years.  Under the tutorship of Samantha Hughes, Jo Davies and Holly Murray, the Senior cast morphed into the weirdly, humorous and lovable Addams Family, supported by their ancestors who appeared out of their crypt in the atmospheric scenery created by Krystal King and her team of artistic youngsters.

The whole performance was enhanced by the expertise of sound technician, Tom Bromby, in conjunction with Doug Chapman and Fin Jones (set construction, props and lighting) and with costumes made by Rhian Morgan, Jo Pullen and Julie Thorpe. ‘Uncle Fester’ was so enamoured by his rocket to the moon, he zoomed away with it after the show!

Sponsorship was kindly given by Drainforce, with set materials from Jewson, Tenby.  The cast was treated with food from Pizza Bella. Photography and filming was undertaken by Neil Lewis of Capture the Moment Pembrokeshire.
