‘Us Girls’ - a new project to encourage teenage girls to be more active - will be launched in Pembrokeshire on Sunday, October 11.
Girls between the ages of 13 and 19 are invited to Haverfordwest Leisure Centre to try activities like hot yoga, street dance, urban sports, fitness, football and many others.
There will also be mini manicures, massages, health promotion stands and a snack shack demonstrating smoothies, juices, and wraps.
The event will take place between 1 and 4 pm and all activities are free.
The StreetGames initiative aims to give more girls a greater number of fitness and sport opportunities within their local communities.
It also aims to boost female sport participation and address the barriers that prevent many girls and young women between the ages of 13 and 19 from taking part in activities.
The project is a partnership between Sports Pembrokeshire, Communities First and Pembrokeshire Leisure.
