Tenby fell to a late penalty as they exited at the first hurdle of the Swalec Cup away to Dinas Powys on Saturday.
Tom Lewis had given given the Seasiders an early lead with his penalty kick, but Rhys Williams levelled things up with a penalty for the home side, before outside centre David Lloyd crossed over for a try, which Williams converted, to give Dinas Powys a 10-3 lead at the break.
Williams added to the lead with his second penalty, but Tenby hit back to level the score when substitute John Lewis powered through for a try, which Lewis converted.
It was Williams, though, who was given the chance to kick for victory when the Seasiders were penalised near their own 22, and he didn't disappoint to give Dinas Powys a 16-13 win.
