Sir,
I agree totally with Mr. Jenkins, and I hope that the final decision is give to the many ordinary citizens rather than the few who fear an end to their monopolisation.
Myself, along with many, many more, rely on friends and favours to take us out of town. It is our right to have a choice, not just settle for what is there. When people go out of town, they also visit other shops. I'm sure Tenby would also benefit in this way were we to have a Tesco in New Hedges.
By the way, are there any contingency plans for the six to eight-week refurbishment of 'Sainsbury's,' or doesn't it really matter? Don't we matter!
H. Richards,
Knowling Mead,
Tenby.
