Signage has gone up around Saundersfoot’s King George V playing fields, to state that dogs are now banned from the sports field, in light of inconsiderate dog walkers letting their pooches do their business on the seaside village’s sports pitches.

County councillor Chris Williams recently reported dog fouling on the playing area, leading to another game of football being held up again before the end of the season, to allow for the mess to be cleared-up, calling the matter ‘totally unacceptable’

“Thank you to Saundersfoot Sports Club for putting up the new ‘No dogs’ signs at the sports field. I sincerely hope that people respect the playing fields and the wishes of the cricket and football teams,” he stated this month.
