Councillors in Tenby are looking to spruce-up the seaside town’s ‘welcome sign’.
The matter of the ‘Welcome to Tenby’ sign, situated at the entrance of Lady Park, often surrounded by a floral display during peak season, was raised at the most recent meeting of Tenby Town Council, by Cllr James Phillips.
His fellow member agreed to investigate refurbishment of the sign, stating that there were sufficient funds in the town council maintenance budget, for such a project.

With regards to the Pembrokeshire County Council ‘welcome to Tenby sign’ a little further up the road, which a cheeky prankster had added the wording ‘Nicer than Saundersfoot’ to some time last year, the Town Council confirmed that the matter had now been followed up with PCC.
