CONGRATULATIONS to Nerys Hicks on attaining a 2:1 BA (hons) degree in psychology from Cardiff University. A former pupil of Sageston CP School and Greenhill School, Tenby, Nerys is the daughter of Bronwen and Melvyn Hicks, of School House, Redberth.
CONGRATULATIONS to Gareth John Bartlett, who recently graduated from UWIC with a BSC degree with honours in sport and PE. Gareth, a former pupil of Greenhill School, Tenby, is the son of Carol and Alun Bartlett, of The Ridgeway, Penally. Gareth is now furthering his rugby career in Canada.
CONGRATULATIONS to Richard Hodge, who recently graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc honours degree (2.1) in computer science. Richard, from Begelly, is a former pupil of Stepaside CP School and Greenhill School, Tenby. His family wish him all the best for his future career.
CONGRATULATIONS to Bethan O'Docherty, who has recently graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc first class honours degree in physics with medical physics. Bethan, a former pupil of Bro Myrddin School, Carmarthen and Greenhill School, Tenby, will be returning to Cardiff in October to pursue a PHD course in medical physics at the University of Wales College of Medicine. CONGRATULATIONS to Dafydd Griffiths, who has recently gained a degree in dentistry from the University of Wales School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dafydd is the son of Dr. John and Mrs. Anne Griffiths, of Talar Wen, Hill Park, Tenby, and brother of Gareth and Catrin. A former pupil of the Welsh unit at Tenby Infants and Junior Schools and Bro Myrddin, Carmarthen, Dafydd has now joined a dental practice in Burry Port.
Congratulations to Richard Rees, who recently graduated from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne with a B.Sc. in animal science and 2:1 honours in wildlife biology. Richard is the middle son of Des and Tina Rees, of Saundersfoot, and grandson of Marjorie Rees, Pendine. He has two brothers, Adam and David. While at university, he captained their basketball team and played at national level for Durham County. He is at present on a wildlife expedition in Kazakhstan, hoping to film the rare snow leopard. Last summer he spent three months in Papua New Guinea on another expedition and is hoping to pursue a career in the wildlife industry.
