Thanks to a substantial grant from the British Heart Foundation, together with local fundraising, the community now hosts a defibrillator for public use at the Millennium Hall, Llanfallteg. Training sessions have been arranged with the Welsh Ambulance Service, who also supported the provision. The device was 'unleashed' for use by County Clr. and Mayor of Whitland, Sue Allen, seen passing over the new device to John Cooper, who suggested the need, and other supporters.
