A fine summer's day brought many visitors to church and they were greeted by the church secretary. Among those welcomed was a contingent of the open air mission team who will be holding events on the South Beach during the next three weeks. The worship was led by Mr. Keith Evans from Neath on the keyboard. Keith is spending most of his summer holidays in the Tenby district. The sermon was preached by the Pastor Mr. Tom Torok. This was his last Sunday with Deer Park as Pastor, he having being with the church for over eight years. Tom took as his theme two thoughts from the Book of Proverbs, which is also reflected in the teachings of Jesus for his followers. Firstly 'a friend loves at all times', and 'the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.' The corresponding words of Jesus being 'Love each other as I have loved you' and 'go and make disciples of all the nations'. The morning concluded with the communion service.  For further information concerning the events of the week, please ring (01834) 843392.
