Mr. Gerald Duffett, as door steward, welcomed visitors, who came from many parts of the United Kingdom to the morning service. Gerald also introduced the service and guided the prayer time, while the music group led the worship time.  

The visiting preacher was Mr. Phil Vickery, a member of the Pembrokeshire Baptist Association preaching team. His chosen reading from the gospels was the familiar story of Jesus healing the Paralytic.

Instead of preaching a conventional sermon, Phil encouraged the congregation to take an active vocal part by imagining that they were actually present at this event and considering the reasons for their particular actions.  They were then encouraged to think through how they would react to a similar situation in today's world.
