Among the friends adding the morning service were members of the Beach Mission team who will be holding events on the South Beach every day next week, weather permitting. A lady from Hong Kong was also present.

The time of worship was led by the music group with Mr. Keith Evans at the keyboard. Keith also introduced the prayer time. Mr. Frank Howard read from the prophet Isaiah, chapter 28, and he used the events recorded as a basis for his sermon.

Here the children of Israel, living in Judah, were enjoying a peaceful and fruitful existence but they wanted more, but had forgotten their God. Eventually this brings disaster upon the nation. In Isaiah, we find the promise of the coming of Christ.

Frank asked the question, Is this not a lesson for the present time? Ought we to not remember that our God and his purposes are more important than material wellbeing.
