A family visiting Tenby from Germany were among the congregation welcomed by Mrs. Jeanne Grimes and Mrs. Nan D'Ortez.

During the time of worship, led by the worship group of German friends, they told the congregation about their Christian journey of faith. It had started with the husband learning about Jesus from his father in Russia.

Using his sermon, Mr. Chris Llewellyn reminded everyone of the story found in Daniel, chapter 5, of the 'writing on the wall' during the banquet of Belshazzar and its interpretation by Daniel.

The writing spelt out the end of the King's reign and his failure to acknowledge the 'Lord of Heavens'.

That very night, Belshazzar was slain and another king took over his kingdom. God is in control and mankind needs to know that God is sovereign over all our lives.

There will be Bible study on Tuesday, and parent toddlers will meet on Thursday as usual.
