Regular worshippers, joined by visitors from Swansea and Loughborough, were greeted at the door.

Mrs. Phyllis Duffett welcomed everyone and gave out Family News, including information about weekly meetings. The stirring worship hymns and songs were played by the Music Group, with soloist Pamela, guitarist Alan, Nancy at the keyboard, flautist Tessa and clarinettist Barbara.

Phyllis led the worship and time of Open Prayer, culminating in the Lord's Prayer.

The Junior Lightseekers Club was supervised by Pamela Holmes and Carol Ansell, who met in the Church Hall during the second half of the service. Mr. Andrew Stammers (from Broad Haven Baptist Church) preached about 'Working Together' and based his remarks on Romans chapter 12, verses 3-16. He gave parcels to some of the congregation. When each was unwrapped, one held a hot-water bottle without any top; another held only a stopper and a further contained only its cover. This illustrated how our gifts and talents are of little or no use in isolation.

After the closing hymn, Phyllis gave the Benediction and we all shared the Grace.

Refreshments were served after the service, giving people the opportunity to chat informally.

During school term time, the Parent-Toddler Group meets in the Church Hall each Thursday between 10 am and noon. Also the Prayer and Bible Study meeting is held weekly each Tuesday starting at 7.30 pm.

The speaker this Sunday is Mr. Gerald Duffett, who is a member of our Preaching Team.
