A GROUP of cyclists are getting ready to jump on their saddles for a charity cycle ride from Cardiff to Tenby.
Taking place tomorrow (Saturday), the group of around 20 riders will be setting off on the 100-mile route from Cardiff Castle at 5 am.
Called 'Cyclo-Phobia' 2005, the riders are raising money for Diabetes UK Cymru and expect to arrive in Tenby at around 6.30 pm.
Their finishing point will be Tenby House Hotel where hopefully they will be met by the Mayor and representatives from the diabetes charity.
"Last year, myself and my colleague Mark Carter did the ride as we had had new bikes, but this year, other workmates are joining us, along with otheres who responded to adverts we put out," said organiser, Andi Jones, who works at SET offices supplies head office in Cardiff.
The riders will be making a stop en-route at Carmarthen Showground where a Fitness and Health show is being staged.
The riders are hoping to make the charity cycle ride an annual event.
