A PEMBROKE man accused of a string of offences in Narberth during August is in custody awaiting a Crown Court trial.

Glen Hunt, of Paynter Street, Pembroke, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 25.

The 37-year-old faces charges including intentional strangulation, controlling or coercive behaviour, theft from the person of another, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and vehicle sabotage.

No plea was entered, except for ‘not guilty’ to alleged criminal damage.

The next hearing - plea and trail preparation - has been scheduled for September 25 at Swansea Crown Court. The defendant was refused bail on the basis of likelihood of offending, causing injury or fear of injury to an associated person, his previous record and character and the apparent strength of the case.
