A DRIVER from Milford Haven is £900 worse off after driving 37mph over the speed limit on Dredgeman Hill, Haverfordwest.

Stephen Jones, of Prioryville, submitted a guilty plea before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Monday, August 3.

On October 18, 2025, the 35-year-old had driven a Hyundai Kona N T-GDI S-A 5 door saloon on the A4076, at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 60mph. The speed recorded by means of laser was 97mph.

His guilty plea having been taken into account, Jones was fined £553 for speeding, and his driving record was endorsed with six penalty points for the offence.

Costs amounted to £130, plus a surcharge of £221 to fund victim services, making the total payable £904.
