A MAN with no fixed abode admitted to assault and criminal damage at Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court.
Scott Hughes, aged 27, appearing in court on Monday, August 3, pleaded guilty to assault by beating and criminal damage to a TV valued at £120, both carried out at a Goodwick address on July 4.
Hughes was sentenced to a two-year community order including 12 months of alcohol treatment under the direction of DDAS, rehabilitation activity up to 15 days and 40 hours of unpaid work.
An existing restraining order was reworded to remove any ambiguity; it now clarifies that the defendant must not attend the address in question, unless invited, and must leave immediately if asked.
He pays £85 costs and £120 compensation.
