A DISQUALIFIED driver from Pembroke Dock has been sentenced after being caught drink driving at Lamphey.

Neil Edmundson, of Laws Street, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday, May 26.

He was charged with driving a Range Rover on Lamphey Lodge Lane on May 7 after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit.

Moreover, he was charged with driving on a road while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence, and using a motor vehicle without third party insurance.

Having pleaded guilty to all three charges, the 51-year-old was sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, and a five-year driving ban.
