Visitors to Oriel y Parc, St. Davids, on Tuesday, can find out how the Pembrokeshire landscape was shaped by man.
David Jenkins, senior curator of industry for Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales, is giving a talk about the landscape, featuring some of the stories that made Wales the first industrial nation.
The free talk, at 2 pm, is the next in the Sparking Curiosity programme of 'tea and talks' at the gallery, visitor and education centre.
Bryony Dawkes, partnership projects curator for Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales, said: "The Sparking Curiosity series offers visitors to Oriel y Parc a fascinating insight into many aspects of the work of Amgueddfa Cymru.
"The museum cares for, researches and interprets a diverse range of collections from art and archaeology, to social history, industry and the natural sciences. Sparking Curiosity is a great opportunity to meet the experts and find out more about these collections, often in the context of the Pembrokeshire landscape."
The free talks are in the Discovery Room at Oriel y Parc (unless otherwise stated) and last for 45 minutes. They are suitable for adults, including sixth form and college students. Tea and freshly baked cakes are available from the café.
