Coastal erosion concerns for Saundersfoot continue to be given consideration by local councillors.
Tom Luddington of Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF) recently gave a presentation to members of Saundersfoot Community Council, describing the important role that communities have in producing a climate adaptation plan.
Mr Luddington has already helped set up a stakeholder group which has met twice this year, with councillors Brigitte Robinson and Alec Cormack members of the group.
It is planned for the Community Council to take a leading role in actioning a Shoreline Management Plan for the seaside village which will mean that they undertake work which will lead to a feasibility study of upgrading/improving existing sea defences.
Once work starts, the Council will be consulting with the community.
