IT was lovely to see so many people gathered for the harvest festival at St Issell’s Church, Saundersfoot on Sunday, October 25.

The service was led by Rev’d Martine Johnson and the occasion brought the congregation, including new faces and visitors, together for a harvest thanksgiving service.

Soup and refreshments were served afterwards, giving everyone an opportunity to share a meal and enjoy a chat before heading home.

Donations of tinned and packet food were also collected for Narberth Food Bank.

The church is looking for volunteers from the wider community to join its Fundraising Group - which organises fundraising events, or its Schoolroom Group - to help maintain the building and manage bookings for local groups.

If you, or someone you know, would like to get involved, please get in touch. The church committee is small, and your help would make a real difference by sharing the workload.
