Councillors agreed to give the charity a £100 donation at their meeting on Tuesday night as Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, reported back to members on an open day she had attended at the Neyland centre recently.
"It was quite an eye-opener to discover at the open day that the centre is 99 per cent self-funded and as it's such a worthwhile cause I felt we should consider supporting them," said Clr. Mrs. Lane, in proposing the donation.
