Tenby town centre cannot be without public toilet facilities through the summer, a town councillor claimed this week. Clr. Mrs. Caroline Thomas's comments came at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council, in response to recent correspondence from Pembrokeshire County Council's Mr. Barry Davies, who remarked that they would not be entering into discussions again on the possibility of re-opening the town's Upper Frog Street facilities. "We're not happy with this and we need to discuss the matter with someone else further; we won't let this go," stressed Clr. Mrs. Thomas, who suggested writing to the two local county councillors to get their support on the issue. Town councillors have been concerned about the matter since it was confirmed that the South Parade toilet facilities would be closing.
