WATCH a slideshow of beautiful pictures of yesterday’s VE Day 80th anniversary celebrations at Amroth, featuring the Whitland Male Voice Choir.

The photographer was Joe Matthews, a journalism student at Liverpool John Moores University, who has been on holiday in Amroth with his family. “It’s been a lot of fun and we’ve spent a lot of time in the area over the years. So we are getting to know it quite well.”

Sadly, Joe had to take the train back to Liverpool today, but not before he sent us this great collection of photos of a moving ceremony that culminated in the lighting of the beacon.
