NEXT Friday, November 21, Tenby Arts Club welcomes Côr-y-Môr choir for an evening concert at St Johns Church, featuring festive tunes and community spirit.

This will be in St Johns Church at 7pm, and entrance is £5 - or £3 if you are a member of Tenby Arts Club.

Last week the choir held its very first AGM - a real milestone moment for Saundersfoot’s Community Choir!

Led by chair Kath Evans, each committee member gave a presentation about their role, showing just how much teamwork and dedication goes into keeping the choir running smoothly.

The singers also took time to celebrate just how far they’ve come - from a small group of friends to a 49-strong choir with its very own Facebook page! Over the past year, the choir has performed 37 times in all sorts of places - from a castle in Pembrokeshire to a church in Spain. And together these singers in their distinctive pink uniforms have raised an incredible £1,560 for the charity of the year, MNDA.

The vocalists are tuning up for their festive performances and paying credit to hard-working, enthusiastic choir leader Delwen Williams. They also value generous sponsorship from The Chemist Inn Saundersfoot and Harbwr Bar & Kitchen Saundersfoot and the continued support of Mike Evans and his team.

They have also expressed gratitude to everyone who comes along to hear them sing… So don’t miss their Tenby concert at St Johns next Friday evening.
