Easter highlights at St Mary’s Church include:
Maundy Thursday, 7pm – Sung Eucharist with Stripping of the Altars, followed by a short silent Watch
Good Friday, 10am – Ecumenical Walk beginning at Deer Park followed by a united service in Tudor Square; 2pm – ‘The Last Hour’ devotional service.
Easter Day – Dawn Service at Tenby Bandstand; 10am – Sung Eucharist
5 pm – The Easter Festival, a service of Nine Lessons and music. In the church newsletter, Rector Rev’d Andrew Grace writes: “The Easter Festival Service at 5pm on Easter Day will be my last service in St Mary’s and my last service before I retire. This service is a celebration of our Lord’s Resurrection, of course, and I look forward to a wonderful Easter celebration in words and music, in prayer and praise. But it will also be my last chance to say goodbye to our beautiful church family, and I do hope we will all be able to get together for this service, and for a glass of Easter wine afterwards.”
