ON September 9, Louise and Marilyn at Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre had the privilege of interviewing former RAF serviceman Alan Stride, from Yorkshire.

Alan had been an RAF serviceman in Pembroke Dock in the early 1950s.

The museum’s Oral History ‘crew’ is always ready to record any stories, particularly those relating to the town and World War ll.

Also this week, a couple travelled from Sussex to see the HMS Erebus exhibition at Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre, having read about it in a newspaper. The exhibition runs until the end of October with artefacts on display retrieved from sunken ship.
