ARE you interested in local history? Narbelles WI is holding a charity event in Narberth on September 11, in aid of their chosen charity of the year, the Paul Sartori Foundation.
For their September meeting, the Narberth-based WI presents an archaeology talk about the finds at the former Ocky Whites at Bethesda Baptist Chapel next Thursday.
The talk by Heneb / Dyfed Archaeology, based on discoveries at the erstwhile riverside department store at Haverfordwest, is a fundraiser for local hospice-at-home charity Paul Sartori. Non-members are welcome, admission is £5, with refreshments included, and there will be a raffle at £1 per ticket.
The event starts at 7.45pm. To pre-book, call 01437 563795. Pay cash only on the door.
