The Pembrokeshire-based hospice-at-home charity was established in memory of Father Paul Sartori, a local parish priest who identified the need for hospice care in Pembrokeshire.

Today, more than four decades later, the charity continues to provide a wide range of free services. These include hands-on nursing care, rapid-response equipment loan, physiotherapy, complementary therapies, future care planning, and both anticipatory and bereavement counselling. By offering this care, the charity enables patients to remain at home, surrounded by their loved ones, while receiving the dignity and support they deserve.

All the charity’s services are provided completely free of charge, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This is only possible thanks to the generosity of the local community, through donations, shopping with us, and the support of 300 dedicated volunteers alongside a committed team of staff. The meeting on September 24 will be a chance to celebrate the kind contributions from friends, local businesses, community groups, grant funders, local and national government.

Speaking ahead of the event, Charity Manager Sandra Dade said: “We warmly welcome anyone with an interest in our work to join us, hear about the impact we have achieved, and share in our vision for the future.”

Everyone is welcome to attend, and the charity is keen to encourage supporters, partners, and members of the local community to come along.
