BOOK now for the PAVS Big ‘Do’ on June 5 at The Centre, Simpson Cross. As part of #VolunteersWeek this free event will be a chance to get together to ‘do’ something (some volunteering) but also to have a bit of a ‘do’ (as in a celebration).

Lunch is provided and everyone will get the chance to do try something that helps others. Activities will start by 10.30am and lunch will be from 12.30pm.

Activities already confirmed are:

Outdoors: Help in the community garden/ meadow area - including: weed flower and vegetable beds, paint outdoor fence, mow grass, water and mulch trees, plant flowers and plants. Wear suitable clothing and shoes. NB The garden area is not fully accessible if you have limited mobility.

Indoors: Write a letter to someone feeling lonely - using the Cwtch Post Box, fill a 'jar of kindness', prepare exhibition boards for a local history exhibition in Little Haven called: ‘Past and Present Community Groups in The Havens’ using materials provided, contribute to a chain poem, plant a cup of kindness to take away, help set up for lunch, tidy up, wash up... and much more.
