Tenby Museum and Art Gallery is looking for volunteers in a variety of roles, to help tell the story of Tenby from the Neolithic to the present day, following the building’s recent refurbishment.

Love local history? Want to help others learn about Tenby? With new exhibtions telling the story of Tenby, as well as the geological and archeaological history of South Pembrokeshire, a refreshed art gallery and a new contemporary exhibition - now makes the perfect opportunity to volunteer at the Museum located on Castle Hill.

“We are particularly looking for new members of our front of house team, focusing on greeting visitors, answering visitor enquiries about the town and surrounding area's as well as assisting with the running of events,” a spokesperson for Tenby Museum shared.

“Front of House not for you? We are also seeking to recruit new volunteers for our collections team. This team focus on caring for and documenting the Museum’s extensive collections including our archives, as well as carrying out research to help us create new exhibitions to tell new stories of Tenby's History.

“Passion for gardening? We are also on the loom out for a green fingered volunteer to give a little time when they can to help keep the area around the Museum’s entrance looking great, with a focus on caring for our planters,” they continued.
