Ann Draper, her mum Shirley, as well as neighbour Sylvia Blake, met at the railway station armed with litter pickers loaned to them by the Avenue Centre.
There they were also pleased to be joined by three ladies who were visiting Tenby for the weekend, namely Wendy Congreve, Gloria Lane and Jo Prosser.
“For an hour, we worked our way along Station Road and down towards the Golf Club, filling five bin bags with rubbish as we did, including at one point an entire cotton sheet!” said Ann, who organised the clean-up.
“This turned out to be a very enjoyable event and I would like to thank everyone who helped,” she added.
