Carew and Cresswell Quay branch of Cancer Research UK Cymru recently held their annual Christmas pancake night. The event took place at the Cresselly Arms, Cresswell Quay. Many thanks to Billy and his team of helpers who kept up with the demand for pancakes. A total of £280 was made during the evening. Raffle winners were: hamper, Gwyneth Jones; basket of fruit, Brian Jakes; wine rack and wine, Rob Lomas; chocolates, Debbie Harts; toiletries, Vince Price; toiletries, Denzil; bottles of wine, Andrew Cole, Rob Oxley and Maurice Cole. As the final event for 2004, a Christmas service was due to be held at Burnetts Hill chapel yesterday (Thursday) evening. Many thanks once again go to everyone for their continued support.
