AS reported last week, 20-year-old Christopher Williams, of Tenby, has reached the finals of this year's Mister Wales contest.
Chris was a student at Greenhill before joining Her Majesty's armed forces in January 2005, serving with the Royal Engineers.
He said: "I am honoured to be through to the finals of Mister Wales and to be raising money for such a worthy cause as the Joshua Foundation, a charity which was created in September 1998 to provide holidays and experiences for children and their families where the child is diagnosed with terminal cancer.
"I would be grateful for your readers' support in helping me in the final by voting for me by either calling 0901656 1579 and entering 29 or by sending a tx CHRISTOPHER WILLIAMS to 84205 as the subject. Lines close on July 17 at 12 noon."
The final takes place on Saturday, July 18, in Cardiff International Arena at 6.15 pm.
For those of you who want to go and support Chris at the final, tickets are priced at £25 and are available from http://www.misswales.co.uk">www.misswales.co.uk.
In the meantime, Chris is taking part in the sponsored Mister/Miss Wales Challenge Day at the National Dive Centre in Chepstow and is appealing for sponsorship as 100 per cent of all funds raised will also be going to the Joshua Foundation.
If anyone would like to sponsor Chris, a sponsor form is available at Andrew Price Salon in Tenby.
Chris is the son of Edna and Stephen Williams, of Yes Limos.
