The Clarence House, one of Tenby's best-known hotels, has once again given the Wales Air Ambulance charity a major boost.
Heather Philbin, hotel receptionist, presented the charity with a total sum of £1,569.20 last Wednesday evening.
Over the past year, Heather has raised the money by holding raffles during the evenings for the many holidaymakers staying at the hotel.
During the presentation evening, there was a successful raffle and guests had the opportunity to purchase air ambulance merchandise.
The charity presented Heather with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of the enthusiasm and hard work she has put in to raising the funds.
The proprietors, Mr. and Mrs. Loz Phillips, were also specifically thanked for allowing the fundraising to take place.
Mike Ashbridge from Wales Air Ambulance commented: "This is another tremendous donation to Wales Air Ambulance from the Clarence House Hotel. I would like to thank Heather for her fantastic effort, she really is one of our star supporters! Over the past three years, she has raised over £5,000 in support of our life-saving work.
"The Air Ambulance charity celebrated its 10th anniverary in 2011 and during that time has flown over 15,000 emergency missions throughout Wales.
"During 2011, the air ambulance was busier than ever in Pembrokeshire. This wonderful support by Heather at the Clarence House Hotel is very much appreciated by all of us at Wales Air Ambulance, she is a true friend of the charity."
