The Strand Antiques and Tea Rooms in Saundersfoot has been crowned the Cawl Cooking Champion of the World and Elsewhere for the second year running. Proprietors Paul and Sue hotly defended their title during the successful Saundersfoot St. David's Food and Craft Festival, organised by the village's Chamber for Tourism. Hundreds of people sampled and voted their way around the nine establishments on the popular 'Cawl Trail', with Sue's traditional recipe, handed down from her grandmother, being voted unanimous favourite. Paul and Sue are seen receiving their award from chairman of the Chamber for Tourism, Andrew Evans, while also pictured are Chamber members, Lilian Lang and Hazel Caine.
