People are being reminded that they can catch the Narberth Neighbourhood Policing Team on tour on the last Tuesday of every month.

The team visit Lawrenny, Kilgetty, Clynderwen and Maenclochog at set times on the last Tuesday of the month.

People can pop along and see them and talk to them about any issues.

These will then be taken to the main Police and Communities Together (PACT) in Narberth in case people from these areas cannot make the PACT.

Among issues raised at the surgeries this month was a report from a Kilgetty resident that youths were causing a nuisance in Ryelands Lane in the evenings.

The resident was informed that Narberth and Tenby officers are aware of the behaviour of a small group of youths in Kilgetty.

Some have already been spoken to about the problems in Ryelands Lane and police regularly patrol the area. The resident did say that there had been a reduction of the nuisance in the last week.

In Maenclochog, residents were concerned about vehicles speeding through the village and also through New Moat. This matter has been referred to the roads policing unit.

PC Alison Foley said: "We try and get out and about in our rural areas as often as possible, but these surgeries are set times when people can come and see us.

"We really do listen to everything people have to say and take any issues to the PACT if people are unable to attend themselves, so please don't be shy and come up and have a chat."
