With many of the club members and leaders away on holiday, the Youth Club is closed until September, but 20 senior club members will be helping in Carew Castle for the children's activities weeks run by the Pembrokeshire National Park.
The club's closing BBQ was a great success last Friday. Many family, friends and club members joined in the sponsored walk around Carew Newton, and then back to the Youth Centre for wonderful food provided and served by the club leaders. One of the highlights of the evening was the water slide arranged by Mark.
Sunday services: There will be a family service at 11 am, led by Sharon, Graham and members of the Sunday School. Because of the morning service, there will be no afternoon service. The evening worship at 6 pm will be conducted by Mr. Gareth John.
All arrangements have now been completed for the Carew Wesley Mill Pond Fund-raising day on Saturday, August 15, commencing with early morning breakfast at 7.30 pm - more details later.
The chapel is open each day, 10 am to 6 pm for prayer and meditation, and a prayer sheet is open in the chapel porch for anyone needing prayerful support.
A warm Christian invitation is extended to all, to share in church and chapel services, held in the parish of Carew.
